Step 6 – Assembling the Pieces
Now that my pieces are ready it’s time for some assembly.

Looking good so far. If you look closely you can see the groove that I made in the rear with the ruining machine to accept my backboard.
Built a metal frame to hold the monitor
Tested this frame inside my cabinet, it’s a perfect fit. Measured the mounting brackets on the monitor and used the measurements to plan where my new mounting screws would be located. Made the long piece that is sticking up in the air to attach the circuit board. It should be plenty strong enough to keep it from moving. The completed frame is much stronger than necessary but I like that kind of thing.
It’s going to be a 2 person operation to move the monitor into it’s new frame. I’ll be back with more updates as soon as I convince my wife to help me.
